Tunisian Revolution Talk About Thread
I have decided to create a thread in which I will keep a close eye on the Tunisian Revolution because I find it important (and I have no life).

Here is a news source I have located and consider credible:

ALJAZEERA ENGLISH NEWS

If you have seen any of the news report videos such as this, it it easy to understand how this story intrigues.:

Why Was The Story Ignored In The West?

So In my oppinion: Viva La Revolution!

DISCUSS! What do you think? Thinking

Tunisia seems fairly westernized. Best guess is that it will force the less advanced states to become an even big bunch of scumbags than they already are.

Well, after Tunisia there seems to be a surge of violent protest waves in some countries

Do you think these are good or not? In the long term

It's good that these protests are happening. It gives me a good feeling when humanity is able to stand against oppression and fight! Clap Go Tunisia!

Quote:CAIRO (AP) - Thousands of anti-government protesters, some hurling rocks and climbing atop an armored police truck, clashed with riot police Tuesday in the center of Cairo in a Tunisia-inspired demonstration to demand the end of Hosni Mubarak's nearly 30 years in power.

It's time for a Persio-Arabic Renaissance. And not a moment too soon, given the destructive nature of modern technology.
