So the creator or the universe itself sent...bugs to plague a place? And not even big house-sized bugs? Just lil regular bugs?

God really needs to step up his game.

They were able to have two breeding seasons in one year even. They have been moving north to Egypt, but many swarms have even crosses the Red Sea into Saudi Arabia. Even in the inner part of the arabian peninsula they can find food easily, since there seems to have been more rain than usual as well. The insects have arrived now at the UAE and southern Iran and there are concerns they will move into Afghanistan and India......according to the UN.

So these insects have been originated in Ethiopia, moved to Egypt, Arabia, UAE and maybe are gonna move to Asia, but the fact that a few of em are currently in Mecca or Media, that is a sign. Facepalm

Bugs "hit" all over the world all the time, honestly, they're always around.  The origin of this particular swarm is just like any other anywhere else at any time.  You're looking to crickets to tell you about a god.   The irony is delicious.

-and so are crickets!

Geography rules and conditions must be taken into consideration. Florida is not like Mekka or Medina; bugs simply don't come in swarms in here, it's a desert region that is extremely hot too.
Yes there are "bugs" everywhere; but "swarms"? hitting "religious sites" in specific?

I'm not looking at "crickets" to find God; I'm saying instead that the actions of Muslims -especially the Sauds- are not worthy of the white color they paint the grand mosque in.

Personally; I look at the events.
Let's say Muslims did something very stupid. If bugs came invading their holy sites afterwards; I'll think that mostly God cursed them for the stupid actions they did.

I said it was getting old. You do realize that talking about your specific god as though the debate is already over and you’ve won, isn’t going to get you very far with people on the fence about it, yeah?

I always rethink my views with every discussion I have. But what I hear in discussions doesn't convince me in most cases: there is that small bit that is messing from counter arguments.

Just because you assert there is a God doesn't allow you to assert a natural event is an event from God

Even if you were, what gives YOU the authority to decide that its a curse from God? and then to go further and assert a reason?

As a believer have you not thought your God might be telling those worshipping to play cricket instead?

They're disgusting; they came in swarms; and they are bugs.

I'm thinking like: they have all the signs of a bad omen.
Especially that they hit twice; 1 in Mecca and 1 in Medina, with a long timespan in between
Your lack of compassion for fellow human beings is repugnant. Your religion has completely skewed your moral compass, and you lost all humanity. Thats the price you pay for adhering to your cult. already told you that Islam is not the solution to your problems, but the very cause.

You may be shocked now and ask yourself (and possibly are already typing) "how could he!?". Ill tell you why´:

If you would have read my original post (which you may have done, but like so many things you only like to read and understand the parts you want to ) you would have noticed that those huge swarms orignated in Ehtiopia, one of the porest places on earth, with lots of starving going on. I dont want to even imagine what the imact of these swarms is on the ethiopian food-situation (same for all the other people in all the other regions i mentioned. Afghanistan for example is a region which not really deserves natural disasters if you look at its very recent history, since ca. 1979, is it?.

But you, you dont give a fuck about starving ethiopians or afghans, you care about fucking places like Mecca and Medina, where the more wealthy muslims go (who can afford to) and where obscenely big towers are built to show off, because these places need your sympathy, not Ethiopia.

Fuck Ethiopia and Afghanistan, right?

I have the authority and the right to say anything I want; it's called "personal freedom".
If you want to even prevent me from having a personal freedom, then you are assaulting a natural right that I have.

As  for what makes me think its a curse; it's this verse from the Quran:

Quote:Sura 7, The Quran:

https://quran.com/7/125-135

(130) And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded.

(131) But when good came to them, they said, "This is ours [by right]." And if a bad [condition] struck them, they saw an evil omen in Moses and those with him. Unquestionably, their fortune is with Allah, but most of them do not know.

(132) And they said, "No matter what sign you bring us with which to bewitch us, we will not be believers in you."

(133) So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.

So just like the ancient pharaohs; Muslims of today -especially the warlords leading like the Sauds- show similar -if not identical- attitude. So why wouldn't they be cursed like ancient Egyptians?

No. But you stick to the context. Our topic is not hunger in Afghanistan or hunger in Ethiopia; it is about the Saudi regime that caused misery and corrupted earth, and a nation of Muslims that remained "silent" in front of its acts; so they were cursed with cockroaches invading their worship sites like a plague; a reminder just like the people  of the pharaoh got a reminder.

Maybe there are simply too many religious sites on the planet, thinking about it they are pretty hard to avoid.

You just justified the existence of locust swarms.
Well done.

Notice that my topic is about swarms hitting "certain Islamic sites that swarms shouldn't hit"; not about swarms and why they hit; I leave that topic to bug scientists
You also just said that Mecca & Medina = whole Middle East, which is quite ignorant
