So there is such a thing as black racism? I'm just asking because for the last few years it has become popular to argue that there is no such thing as black racism. People have literally been arguing that a black person can't be a racist.

Why would you have to censor a word when simply discussing the word? What kind of person would get mortally offended seeing the word written in full, but can survive if there’s a star in the middle? I can only think this is actually to avoid being picked up by internet algorithms or something. If so, fair enough I guess.

Just to be clear, and this should be obvious to anyone who knows me, I don’t advocate insulting people at all. I’ve barely ever done it on this forum. I wouldn’t raise my child to insult people however they want during a conversation, but to avoid certain topics of insults. I’d raise them to just be polite.

So what I’m saying is that whether or not someone is being hateful isn’t equivalent to whether they are picking on certain characteristics. They can be hateful without doing so, and they can just be joking around while doing so. Hence, context is what matters.

I’m not too up on what legally counts as hate speech, but I find that idea dumb too if it can only count as such if certain aspects are included. I think the term is a bit stupid, as it’s become a very vaguely defined and ever-expanding way of censoring people. If someone is being abusive or harassing someone, they can do so with or without picking on certain aspects, and the law should intervene. I assume this rule isn’t about the law though, but is in addition to it.

If personal attacks are in fact off the table now, then that’s cool. I don’t think it’s particularly clear from the rules as they stand. If I’d just joined the forum, I’d have thought a lot of posts being made would be in violation, but experience here would have taught me that they would pass.

Here’s a humorous scenario I came up with. Just for a laugh.

"Officer! This guy called me a cunt!"

"Just ignore him."

"He said my mum's a whore!"

"You’re too sensitive."

"He said I’m a worthless human being!"

"The world's a tough place, kid."

"He said I’m a nazi!"

"Look, I’ve got real work to do."

"He mocked my generic heritage!"

"I’ll call SWAT."

What is it with you not engaging with individuals anymore? The way you behave on the forums lately is akin to the religious who come here to preach. I responded in detail to your post before this one, and you simply ignored it in favor of fashioning another long-winded monologue. Do you even care what we think about what you think? Or, have you arrived at the point where you’re only interested in hearing your own thoughts on any given subject?
