David Crosby, Founder of Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, Dead at 81 After 'Long Illness' (msn.com)

This one hurts my heart.

I bought the digital version of the Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young documentary quite a while ago titled 'Fifty by Four' and watch/listen to it when I am sewing...I may be cueing that up again soon.

On Amazon Prime if anyone is interested.

I just wondered if she'll appear on the new Wednesday show and now I have the answer.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I neglected to mention it yesterday, but Tom Verlaine, leader of the seminal NY band Television, dead at 73.

They were brilliant, and their debut, Marquee Moon, is classic. Dig it up and give it a listen -- it's worth it.

What the world needs now, is another Burt Bacharach.
