There’s really no rules for this brewer I already apologized and corrected myself. I apologize if it came off as a knee jerk. It was and I’m sorry.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

Wow - I just saw a post on FB from a former classmate who said he went to a ZZ Top concert on the 24th of this month and Dusty didn't play because he was under the weather...I guess he was.

I don't know how many times I've seen ZZ Top, but probably more than any other big name band. At least 8-10 times. First time was World Wide Texas Tour at the Nashville Fairgrounds in 76.

Twice for me. It would have been a third time, but that concert had to be canceled after he got injured.
Fun Fact #1: Dusty and Billy were the biggest reason I decided to grow out my beard. Sadly, genetics has conspired against me, and, even despite the fact that I haven't dared to shave it off (maybe taking a bit off the sides or trimming some stray hairs, but nothing more) since shortly before I graduated high school, it's not even at Russian Novelist length, let alone ZZ Top lengths. Also, the first of the ZZ Top concerts I went to, someone mistook me for an Orthodox Jew. Evidently, they didn't think that the reason I grew my beard out was right there on stage a couple minutes prior.
Fun Fact #2: I was wearing the T-shirt I got from my last ZZ Top concert (one where they co-headed with John Fogerty) yesterday, the same day I heard Dusty died.

Col. Dave Severance, the commander of the Marine company that raised the American flag over the Japanese island of Iwo Jima in World War II. He was 102.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Jonathan Rinzler, bestselling author of ‘Star Wars’ books like The Making of Star Wars (a New York Times bestseller), The Making of The Empire Strikes Back, The Making of Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Blueprints, and The Sounds of Star Wars.
He really liked Star Wars.
