So I got bored today and bought a couple of used servers

Dell PowerEdge R710 2.5" 2x X5675 3.06ghz Hex Core 72gb 2x 300gb 10k Perc 6i

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with them when they get here. I haven't done any sysadmin type stuff in several years. Probably put CentOS on them, setup some VM's and play around with mail and web servers. Maybe try some high reliability failover stuff with the second machine. Maybe give the second one to my brother for compiling some stuff he's been working on for a while.

Where  I used to work we had the servers in the kitchen next to the sink. This struck me as being a bad idea.
