Can we please discuss what your thoughts are on what this means for the future of the United States.

Well, in regards to the OP, I think that Georgia is way scarier because their control extends to what lies outside their jurisdiction.

As for the future of America: I'm actually not worried... (though maybe I should be). I think the Supreme Court will overturn this shit as fast as it lands on their desk.

You really think so? Even with Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court?

We could drive ourselves crazy crunching the various 5 vs. 4 scenarios... or we could just wait and see. If history is any indication, the Supreme Court is full of surprises.

Murdering babies is sickening and illegal, but fetuses are not babies.

So you are lying to make your argument black and white.  No one can argue with someone who is willing to lie to win.

Why do so many Christians think it's okay to lie to win arguments?

Because if You can believe you need salvation and you owe it to a god who fucked his own mother to give himself birth, nothing else can still look like much of a lie by comparison.

In the great flood every pregnant female on the planet was destroyed by your god if the Bible is to be believed. Along with their babes at the breast (particularly evil, that lot), every kitten, every puppy, every fledgling, and every good person who had never heard of Yahweh.

You are so fucking sanctimonious.

You can't argue with forced birth zealots. It has zero to do with babies and 100% to do with an absolute and complete hatred of women. They will deny this until they are blue in the face while claiming "save the babies!", but it's fucking bullshit. They are angry, small-minded people and often warped by religion. It's a lost cause. If they truly, TRULY cared about the lives of children, they would be raising holy hell to stop school shootings, and Sandy Hook should have been the turning point.

Thankfully, many states are putting protections in place if Roe/Wade does fall. My state of Massachusetts is one (the first to do so, actually), and many others are falling suit. What could happen in the more liberal states is health insurance providers could find loopholes to stop covering reproductive services or birth control. Thus abortions and other reproductive care could get very expensive. And of course, this doesn't help the poor women who get pregnant in the states that have outlawed abortion and birth control.

With all of that said, please consider making a donation to NARAL or Planned Parenthood. They really need our help.

I did not lie.  I don't mind saying the fetus instead of the word baby.  My points stand as I stated though.

I am not trying to show a moral superiority.  I believe God sets the moral standards which I try but fail to live by.  Thank God he sent His Son to pay the punishment for our sins.

The abortion cat has been out of the bag for too long. I can't see it being eliminated, restricted yes (and this has been taken to the absurd), but not eliminated.

It would be disturbing to have RVW reversed because abortions would still continue, but under non-medical supervised conditions and situations. The death toll for the living (gravid) will increase under the guise of protecting the non living.

Edit: Maybe they need to add a provision to the bill(s). Each man that creates an unwanted pregnancy has his testicles removed. What's good for the goose.................

I understand that there is also a provision for charging rape victims with making a false accusation if the person they accuse is not found guilty.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Conservative judges tend to respect precedence. He said he would. Who knows.
