Any person that for some legit reason cant be vaccinated will be safer because the virus wont enter the population. However, if a few subjects don't want to take vaccines on a whim, they are compromising those that really can't.
Here in Portugal, if you want your kid unvaccinated, you can't put him on public school and I think most of not all private schools also demand that.
Hell, to work where I do, I need to have all vaccines in the national vaccination plan (food industry, so yeah), the flu shot its payed and optional as it isn't in the plan. The company does pay us half the price for it, but its just to avoid people from calling in sick, the greedy bastards.
