I've been here for years, post fairly frequently, and rep people when I notice they've making cogent or kind posts. A lot of people will rep you back if you rep them.

I've always taken pride in totally ignoring the whole rep game.
I'm sure I must break some kind of record for being the atheist who's been on here the longest with the least rep points. I've never given them out in return for being repped, I've never given them out to someone for just having a pretty face. The only time I repped is if someone said something that changed my mood for the day in some genuine way, compliments or funny jokes. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
