If you collect them all, you get the special decoder ring.

Yes.  We (here in the US) just don't spell it all fancy like that.

May as well write your own dictionary.

How do you earn so many?

I checked.

I already repped you.

Hold the phone, was this a back assed attempt  at rep whore points?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

I haven't really paid all that much attention to this repping business.  Read

What if I shared a pic of me wearing a mankini that somehow managed to cover my nipples. Would that get me rep points?

Would it matter if I used a whackload of Nair first?

Or would that cost me reputation points?

Asking for a friend.

Put that mankini in hide tags, I'm not interested. Like I said when I repped you almost a year ago, post more. 157 posts in 8 years makes it tough for people to judge your inputs.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Duly noted. Although, apparently, Walmart will only give me store credit for returning my mankini.

Shoulda got it at Costco Wink

I bribed everyone and will do it again right now.  One rep = 1 ice cream cone*

Mostly people stroking each other off. Welcome to the echo-chamber. Though, I will say, sometimes people give rep points for legitimately good reasons.

I tend to give them to newer members who make interesting threads or give them to longtime members who make good, rational points time and time again. I'd like to think those are good reasons to give rep points. But then again, it's worth asking, what's the function of someone having a reputation score? Answering that might tell us more about why someone should, ideally, get rep points.
