I mean sure you may argue genetic problems during birth, but just use condoms and you'll be fine. I mean anal sex has highest risk of AIDS. So there is that.

I think main reason why people are against incest is homosexual males have more chance of dying due to aids. Nobody likes males not even themselves. While promoting incest helps nobody, i just think its promoted because they feel it helps society that way.

I don't think incest is illegal, I mean it is a taboo but it doesn't really hurt two related persons having consensual intimate relations. The only moral component that we could discuss, is trying to have a child knowing that he has a great chance of beeing born handicapped.

Just to be clear. Incest is usually non-consensual and is (in those instances) very much morally wrong. You went out of your way to cite examples of incest that involved consenting adults. IDK about incest. Not my favorite topic. Between consenting adults, I think it's morally okay though... generally.

But why do I get the impression that you wouldn't question the moral ramifications of a bunch of soldiers bursting into a room and shooting people to death to aid US oil interests? Why do I get the impression that (if that happened) you'd probably devote most of your energy toward thinking of reasons that it's okay to do that?

Funny that you mention wars, if I remember correctly a study has been made involving Jewish children(doesn't really matter that they are Jewish, I think it is valid for every religion) and showed that kids are more likely to accept war or crime if it is commended by God.

The more ingrained something is in society, the more likely you'll have generations that believe it's ok. Or at least, the more likely it is that dissenting voices will be chased off or killed. I think incest can be bad, but mostly if it's done again and again and again, to keep families "pure". If it's just the occasional couple, it probably won't be too harmful, and our instincts usually keep large numbers from doing it anyway. So I'm not going to decry incest while promoting homosexuality.
