"Don't take away people's hope"

RE: "Don't take away people's hope"
If the false hope rests on what does real damage, then of course it is necessary to take away the hope.

So you're trying to outlaw hope?  Good luck with that.  Hilarious

And the logo for this movement will be a telescope over a kaleidoscope...which is the new, and quite clever, go-to line.

The only response to such a statement is a blank stare, the plaintiff is in a dilemma of their own making. In order for them to lose hope they must have accepted the argument that their religion is false and if their religion is false it naturally follows that hope is false. If they aren't too keen on the conclusion then they should stay the fuck away from logic and reason.

No, I am saying that reality is far better to face than clinging to fantasy.

I cant change that people hate ABBA, but I do face the fact that plenty of people hate ABBA. Religion however, is far different. It is anthropomorphic tribalism rooted in superstition. Not liking ABBA or liking ABBA is not a political or religious debate.

The cool thing is that it never really does. Take away the allegedly hope creating thing....but lo and behold, people remain hopeful. It’s almost as if hope is a response to stress, or something.

This is convenient, because it does mean that you can take away a damaging thing without taking away the hope that it doesn’t actually create.

As a twofer, it’s been observed that taking away religions ability to inflict harm on others coincides with growing abandonment of the religion.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
