Biden isn't going down

RE: Biden isn't going down
I think Warren still has a fair shot at winning the nomination. Drastically better than did before, and she appears to make steady gains.
I'd rather see her get the nod, tbh.

Biden's a doddering gaffe-machine and train wreck in the making, IMO. I seriously doubt he'd survive facing off with Trump in a debate.

Trump is an orange man and he's rather villainizing himself. Maybe you would have noticed that if you weren't blindly glorifying him.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). What I'm saying is that they regularly make disrespectful (and racist) comments about old white men, while their prospective voters obviously don't share the same views.  By the way, the same comments made toward "old black man" would cause rage.

And what racist comments do they make? Anything specific?

Actually the same comments made toward "old black men" wouldn't make any sense. They'd be confusing, not rage-inducing.

RE: Biden isn't going down
Biden polling ahead is nothing more than a testament to just how truly and abysmally shitty this field of Democratic candidates actually was, and still basically is.
Only Warren has managed to exceed expectations and demonstrate more competence and determination than most folks gave her credit for. However, she still has to contend with the "electability" matter.

It doesn't appear to be nearly as much of an impediment as did for her six or seven months ago, though.

If she stays on code, I wouldn't be surprised if she continues to close in on Joe in the polls and eventually replace Biden as the safest, most sane option. Especially if Joe and his handlers are going to insist that his befuddled, confused ass keeps talking. Lol

At some point, I think it going to become apparent to more and more voters (and the DNC) that Biden simply doesn't have in it him to win 2020.

The comment is usually made concerning things like a congressional committee or maybe an executive board of a large business. Things like that.  The connotation is that they are corrupt, racist, and misogynistic because they are old white men.  The term is used routinely by the left.  Nobody lifts an eyebrow over these racist remarks.  Say the congressional black caucus meets and comes out with a statement.  What if someone disagreed with their statement and referred to them as a group of old black men ad women.  Would anyone make a comment about this being a racist slur?  This is the mentality of most progressive Democrat candidates, yet the polls have two old white men in the lead.  I wonder if these candidates are out of touch with the everyday pool of Democrat voters.

You know, it is possible to be a white man and simultaneously acknowledge that old white men have used their power to pass laws that are in the favor of the white population at the expense of minorities. It's sort of hard to ignore the more you look at it.

Can you provide an example of a Congressman being accused of racism without it being warranted? I'm sure your reaction is, "All the time!" but I want specifics. Because you'd be surprised at how racist they can be when pushed. Take Steve King as the golden example.

Also, the "people would be outraged if the same thing was said about black people" idea only makes sense as a logical proof, less so in reality because of historical power dynamics. But yes, I agree, that we should be pushing toward a society where it's not okay to make comments about race. But being color-blind doesn't really do much for the issues at hand. Can't just ignore problems and hope they go away.
