Honestly, at this point, I have just enough faith in humanity to not expect people to jack off while driving, but not enough to expect people to take advantage of a red light, jack off then, and not move unless (maybe) you honk at them, and even that's not guaranteed.

I think most people are smarter than what you're giving them credit for. And unfortunately, our issue goes much deeper than access to guns. Though the access factor is certainly one that needs addressing. Sooner, rather than later.
And, for better or worse, it's probably the easiest of all factors to address, so that's where we should start.

First public display I saw was in Dallas. I was on a city bus and looked out the window to see this stereotypical Cadillac convertible with big horns on the hood pacing the bus. The driver (fifty-ish) was in full city cowboy rig and the young man next to him was wearing a t-shirt and nothing else. The driver was ... admiring ... the young man's naughty bits. I think an audience was part of the fun because the driver paced the bus, insofar as to stop short of a traffic light to stay parallel.

It's entirely llikely he had a missfeed - as those drum mags are notoriously unreliable.
