Where's the outrage?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

RE: Where's the outrage?
Don't see how or why Warren or Sander's words would've inspired him specifically, however I do think that there's a distinct possibility that the Dayton shooter's actions may have been racially motivated. Six of the nine people he murdered were black. One of the whites he shot just happened to be his race-mixing sister (along with her black boyfriend), so the possibility of his rampage having been racially motivated doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me.

Whether his particular motives were or not, I've never been under the impression that that white supremacist sentiment is a uniquely Right-sided thing.

And from what I've gathered, the Dayton shooter was also an atheist which didn't come as a surprise to me at all. He wasn't the first one and I doubt he'll be the last. Anti-blackness and deep misogyny doesn't appear to be any less prevalent among white atheists than it does among the general white population. Actually, it seems to me that today's radicalized white supremacist is more likely to identify as irreligious than anything else, and the Left certainly doesn't seem to be immune from that trend. More and more of them appear to be taking to identitarian politics like ducks to water.
Liking the idea of redistribution of wealth and scoring free shit doesn't stop them from hating n***** and/or various assorted "others"; women, Muslims, immigrants, etc.

I suspect that the motives of mass shooters converge in their sense of entitlement; They feel they should be guaranteed a certain level of success, sexual access to women, respect or whatever by virtue of simply being born into the skin they're in and see fit to blame and kill others for their mediocrity and shitty lives.

Donald Trump encourages violence.  He incites hatred and anger.  When someone suggested shooting undocumented immigrants, he LAUGHED.  So spare me your sanctimonious bullshit.  Mango Mussolini has emboldened white supremacists in this country.

It's not about being a Trump supporter.  It never was, and that you think it was just goes to show how stupid you really are.  It's about what Trump encourages.  If a Trump supporter goes and murders his wife because she's cheating on him, nobody's going to say "Trump caused this!"  Do you understand why?  Or are you too fucking dense to get that?

The ohio shooting was NOT politicarlly motivated.  It was NOT encouraged by Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.  If you can't understand that, maybe you should start over in Kindegarten.  Cause this is shit my kindergarten aged grandchildren can understand.  Why can't you?

Another digital idiot.

It's amusing that you think I am a ( R ).

Nope.

Your level of vitriol certainly shows you to be a ( D ).

Only party loyalists sound like that.

Lol, I can’t even imagine the apocalyptic mood on the right when antifa actually does begin to exhibit the right wing nut bars penchant for bombs and mass shootings.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. If they need violence to achieve their ends, fuck the Left and the Right. But nobody wants to say something so silly as "fuck the Left and the Right." The silliest thing about such a statement is that it would be best summed as: "fuck the corporate overlords" -- but nobody wants to say that. For the same reason that a battered prostitute would be apprehensive about saying 'I'd rather not kiss my pimp's ring.' For the same reason an ancient Roman slave would be apprehensive about saying, 'my master has no right to own me." The modern citizen is apprehensive about saying, "I ought to be free from both government and capitalism." And a modern citizen stating THAT is far more rare than a Roman abolitionist or a prostitute who thinks she can disobey or fail to genuflect when her pimp demands that she does.

Extremes are always bad.

Extreme left bad, extreme right bad, extreme religions the worst.

At the moment the US has moved overwhelmingly to the extreme right, with your left wing being to the right of all of our right wing parties with the possible exception of the national front.

Its been nudged there for decades.

"I'm not a Republican!" says guy who can't respond to points and blindly defends Republicans and Trump while attacking Democrats.

Bull-fucking-shit. You're a Republican. You just realize that you have to rebrand to be taken seriously by anyone with at least half a brain.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I was not aware that there was a particular lack of outrage over the Dayton shooting. How was it established to be the case?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
