When I was a gossoon or 8 years or so our grocer Mr Whatshisname would sell broken biscuits for tuppence (2 cents) a pound. The biscuits came loose in a gigantic (to me) tin and were sold loosely by weight. Such a nice man. One time he didn't have enough broken biscuits to make up a pound, so he added a few unbroken ones. I was so impressed.
Catholic Church could really look upon the Satanic Church and offer something like an Oreo as a wafer because if they offered something tasty maybe more people would come to the mass.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I always figured the top one was broken because it represented the bulwark (hymen), and as we know, God already had his way with Maria... Hey, if numerologists can make shit up, so can I! I'd like to put in my request...for a one-pound apple fritter. *I'd* go to mass for that!
Disappointing theists since 1968!
