No..pretty sure he was poor and owed more than he was worth until he took office, but we'll have a chance to see the truth of that, now that the court has ordered his tax firm to release their info.

Of course investors have made mistakes. But to bankrupt casinos requires a special kind of stupid. In fact, it requires breathtaking, mindboggling ineptitude. Bankrupting a casino is next to impossible - they're virtually recession proof, get phenomenal tax breaks and planning exemptions, and they exist solely for the purpose of taking money away from stupid people. It isn't like an investor taking a loss on, say, an IPO, or because the CEO of the company absconded to the Cayman Islands with the receivables and his secretary. It isn't even as if people stopped buying the product.
The ONLY reason for a gambling venue to go bankrupt is the ineptitude of management. Not even personal corruption can do it.
