You facts are 1/2 right in that members of congress where hold up in a secrete meeting but there where no republicans in the room. it was all dims trying to get their story straight or find some way to impeach trump and doing so with out due process that an official impeachment proceedings would mandate. Don't get me wrong the dims have tried to impeach trump officially but they are over 100 votes short of starting the process legally... so rather than things like the constitution and the law of the united states stop them they went on with this secrete partisan meeting.. That is when the republicans stormed the closed door meeting in the secrete 'room'.

Well, it was a closed-door meeting of the House Intelligence Committee. There are 9 Republicans on that committee, so there were 9 Republicans were permitted to be in that room. All other Republicans and Democrats were not allowed, because that's how a hearing in the SCIF works. It's disingenuous to imply Democrats did it without anyone's knowledge and were not permitting any Republicans in the room.

The GOP investigations into Benghazi were mostly conducted behind closed doors with GOP Rep Trey Gowdy arguing that secrecy was "essential to get at the truth and prevent showboating for the cameras." That was when Republicans controlled the committee, so the situation was flipped; most Dems were not allowed in, but many still were because they were voting members of that committee.

No vote of the full House is required to start an impeachment inquiry 'legally'.  The process is whatever the House majority decides.  There are absolutely NO laws - including the Constitution - dictating when or how the House begins an investigation into possible impeachment. In short Nunes said they would not release the transcripts to the rest of the house. which is a problem as nothing discussed in that room whether there was a token rep presence or not was still under a cloak of secrecy. The reps busted into the meeting demanding to make the dims account for what was being said. Which all should be a matter of public record anyway!

It was closed door only because it was to protect the whistle blowers identity, but over a week ago it was decided the testimony was no longer pertinent, yet the dims kept this console open to plot and discuss other impeachment tactics. To which is not a legal use of the privlidges this particular committee.

All 9 republicans wrote and signed a letter confirming the content was no supposed to be of a secretive nature and what was being discussed shuld have been public domain discussion.

What exacerbated the situation was the fact that none of the transcripts where made available without a democratic scaperone for committee members and no transcripts where made available at all for any republican members. which in effect seals the discussion.

Again the house is over 100 votes shy of making this an official investigation which means what they are doing is not constitutionally supported. which again is why the republicans of the house was allowed to burst into that closed door meeting in that secure meeting room. If they did this and the dims where legally supposed to be in that room then every member of the house who entered could have been arrested by the internal house police.

Try to understand this.  Byrne is NOT a member of the Intelligence Committee.  This was a meeting OF the Intelligence Committee.  It makes no difference who was being deposed - Byrne had no right to be there.

Again, the House has the right to conduct this inquiry in any manner they see fit.   No House vote is required to make this investigation official. Show me where in the Constitution it says otherwise (I'll save you some time - you can't).
