Dodgy Mabe my mod sense™ got rusted since I stopped being a mod, but this guy doesn't sound legit. It may just be me, but taking into account the amount of threads this user has been spawning and their randomness it usually does not bode well.

'Thick' does refer to intellect, actually.  But it's more commonly expresses as 'He's thick as a plank' or 'He can't help it, he's just a bit thick'.
