You know sometimes you'll see a cat eating really, REALLY quickly?  That just means they're late for a nap.

Years ago when I had an ornery Siamese cat, I would come home from work every day to find all the decorations and lights torn off one side of the tree.  My time after getting home was spent trying to re-decorate.  Then I caught him standing on the rocking chair gazing into the tree.  He leaped up into the tree about two thirds of the way up and his fat ass slid all the way down stripping everything off the branches on his way to the floor.  Damn cat.

I now have two trees about two feet tall that are made out of ornaments.  I added some tiny LED lights when I purchased them.  Yesterday I got them out, put new batteries in the lights and set the trees on the mantle.  Whew!  Needed a nap after all that decorating.

Current fat cat gave up on trying to get on the mantle after busting his butt a few times so they should be safe.
