Because as I see it - until they address the root problem - overpopulation - anything they do is just a feel-good bandaid... 
Nah i think we can do without the eugenics .

Yeah, it's pretty clear that the problem isn't overpopulation, it's resource management.

Actually, no it's not. Rising standards of living, wealth and education are leveling out population numbers. Lower infant mortality is having the knock on effect of smaller family sizes. |
