Which is to say that spartacus was a right redneck. Kind of puts the whole thing into context, doesn't it. He was a hard motherfucker who knew exactly which levers to pull if he wanted to topple the ruling class. More than that, he knew how to appeal, culturally, to his fellow hard motherfuckers.
