Ukraine adopted a constitution with a course on the European Union and NATO. This is the way from the Varangians to the Greeks through Poland and the Baltic states. This is the north. Also west. Through Poland to Germany, Belgium and England.

I actually googled that to see if the internet had any clue wtf you're talking about..because I wanted to believe that there was a sentient human consciousness behind the post.
Turns out it doesn't, and I can't say for sure that there is.
Could you flesh that out a bit? Shot in the dark, are you suggesting that ukraine has officially pronounced something to the effect of affirming their european identity by way of historic interaction, as opposed to..say, a russian identity? That's the best I've got.

stupid Russians. I have a Russian mother, but I know the history of Ukraine and therefore, I chose Ukrainian and European identity

"Sarmatian" is a modifier a bit like "american". It denotes people from a broad geographic area (iran to ireland, no less) with disparate cultural origins which included the balkans at the time.
A person could be both thracian, as in from thrace..and sarmatian.
(or....sarmatian is a fiction of category, lol, 50/50)

Thrace was the far side of Dacia from the Sarmatian steppe. The 'generic' tribal term would have been 'Scythian' if he was of Sarmatian extraction.
