I 100% agree with you.
It is absolutely scary to me that he pulled a Nixon on Meth, but the GOP is nothing but a cult now. Nixon at least had the decency to step down after he got caught. If Obama had been accused of the same thing the GOP would most certainly call for his hide to be booted.

The hypocrisy of using the word "illegal", not by you, but by the GOP, is that Ken Star, Lindsey Graham, and Alan Dershowitz long ago claimed that impeachment did not have to be about a literal crime, but argued fitness when they went after Bill. Now they are saying "abuse of power" isn't a criminal offense?
The GOP are making shit up now. If Nixon was wrong, Trump is wrong on steroids, meth and bath salts, heroin, crack, and ruffies.
Imagine if Obama had said, "Nigeria, I need you to do me a favor though" regarding McCain or Romney. Turtleman Moscow Mitch and his band of minions would call for blood.
