I need ONE good Christian...

hahaha ...yeah, that's about as polite as one can be without labelling 80% of the world as deluded snowflakes...
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.
All it would take is for a person to adhere strictly to the teachings of Jesus, without fail.
And that would be a highly entertaining process to observe. Oh, yes. We know what the cost would be. We also know that plenty of christians pray for it. Odd how it always fails to happen.
The thread title reminded me of that Jan Michael Vincent thing from Rick and Morty
"Calling all Christians, calling all Christians! We need one Christian to quadrant C. Two Christians to quadrant E. I need a goddamn Christian!" "I refuse to sign the legislation that allows more than eight Christians to a precinct." "This January, It's time to christian down your bibles. Christian Quadrant Bible 16."

I doubt Bich has thought of anything intelligent to say.

When I was in HS (Catholic variety) in the early/mid 70s the powers that be decided what we needed were hip young people to come to the school to talk to us about their faith in Jebus. Most of those who were on some weird tour to the schools were young people who had gotten into drugs or other misadventures but were saved from their path to a miserable life because the LawdGawd saved them...at that time, these people were referred to as Jesus Freaks. One group that came to my school to inspire us was led by a young man that was touted as looking like a young Jan Michael Vincent...that was his selling point...that and the fact that his renewed faith saved him from drugs and promiscuity. It wasn't a year later that the JMV lookalike was back to smoking the devil's lettuce and all matter of ungodly activities. Apparently the saving had a short expiration date...and the organizers of these events didn't speak of it again. I would say god's Kingdom has come for every single generation from the first till now. I predict it will also continue. No one person who has ever lived maybe save one has not seen God's kingdom come. |
