"White liquor" is the first step in any whisky the distillation process. That's what they're using for the hand sanitizer. It smells that way because that's how it really smells.

It's really bad. Rather sickening, tbh.
I bought three bottles and would hate to not use them, though. I could try a different essential oil to offset that smell, I guess.

I tried tea tree and lemongrass. IDK, maybe lavender or some shit like that would be better.

I don't have any experience with it, but it seems like cloves or clove oil should mask it.

When I posted this post you are now responding to, I wasn't even thinking about myself. I was thinking of the cashiers and store clerks knowing the shit they put up with, even in normal times. I wasn't thinking of myself. 

AGAIN, I was not mad at the clerk who didn't wipe down my cart completely. STOP ASSUMING THAT. When he could not, I was thinking of all the other employees that I have worked with, NOT ME, but all the other employees I have worked with who know what it is like to be given impossible orders intended for slow times but implemented all the time. 

His corporate goons are why he couldn't slow down, I don't blame him.

No, you were thinking about yourself.  Your lazy self who can't be bothered to wipe off something you have to touch.

If you really feel it’s a corporate issue why did you complain to the manager? I’m not saying it isn’t a corporate issue, but telling the manager about it does nothing more than making you feel good about yourself.

The next time you go shopping, bring along a spray bottle of disinfectant and a roll of paper towels. arewethereyet is right - take some responsibility.
