Seat belts and air bags were widely fought against by the auto industry. But now they are standard.

I am sick of these assholes who think just because they cant hang out on the beach, or get a latte, or go to the movies, somehow they are in the same ranks as Anne Frank.

Trump just announced that he was taking Hydroxycloroquine. 

Two possible likely realities.

1. He really is taking it.

2. Or he is lying his ass off to pander to his base.


If he really is taking it, he is a fucking dumbass, because it is not intended for a preventative. And the rare times people are given it, it is under constant doctor monitoring in a hospital setting. And there are no lab studies to prove that this medicine works effectively on COVID-19. Not to mention the side effects that could kill him. 

My bet is he isn't taking it and simply like every distraction, like using the "Obamagate" he is simply throwing the kitchen sink at the wall to see what sticks.

Either way, more insanity from a pathetic loser.

Then again, this is the same president that openly mused about the wisdom of injecting disinfectant after an aide told him it was effective at killing COVID on surfaces, so it shouldn’t surprise me that he’d try using a cure as a preventative, even though the evidence that HCQ even has an effect on it is minimal, and its use as a preventative is dangerous.

You know what, if Stephen Sondheim survives this whole thing (and Trump doesn’t,) he needs to create a New song for Assassins. Whether it’s a singing HCQ pill or a singing COVID virus, We need a song about how Trump’s recklessness ends up killing him. I’d post “Everybody’s Got The Right,” but in this context, I’d prefer to not incur the interest of the NSA any more than I have to.
