Going to see a financial advisor is obviously the best advice. That out of the way......
Cash out, start a business, plow that back into real estate when the recession hits homes, then plow -that- into financial instruments in the lull between downturns.

I don't oppose people inheriting stuff. What I abhor is lazy do nothing keyboard warriors that live by without aa ounce of shame, then act like they can have any opinion of value about anything.
If I inherited money, I would at least work at something, and keep that money as a safeguard. At most If enough, I would create a business to generate more money to me and possible employees.
Brian can sleep at night when others don't have the previlege he has and while working for a living, do something for society. At least he can go on rants about trump, guns, abba and making shit poems full time....
