It seems kids are more resistant to covid-19 than other groups, like middle age to elderly. I have a 3 and a half too. She is at home with my wife while I have to work. I take the precautions emmited by the NHS and keep lockdown, just going to work and back. And yes, in Portugal we are urged to isolate from family if there is suspicions. Something I would do in the blink of an eye. Evidently, in my case covid-19, quarantines itself in my presence.

I have a contact number for our local pet sitters in case we both get down. I'll call them while I'm waiting to go to the hospital.

That is nice to know .

I was wondering about that myself , because there are so many cases of covid 19  all around the world and almost no news about kids getting infected .

Anyway i have quit my last job and am sitting home too .

Our country has declared a complete 21 day lock down yesterday night .

I am from India

Thanks for the reply

I don't know what else to say here .

Here treatments are done with HIV medicines

I don't think they have started using that malaria medicines here

AFAIK there isn't anything that's been shown to work.
We're waiting for the antibody test to see if my mother has already had it...

And if hospitalized (parent or child) then probably not.

Kids in the hospital alone ?
Is that how they treat them ?

Huh

Of course they are not alone in the hospital, there is hospital staff there to care for them. Family is not allowed in to limit exposure to and transmission of covid. This is not a hard concept to grasp and these guidelines are all over the news and internet.

I'm beginning to wonder if you're a POE.

Very strange comment for an atheist (according to your profile).
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

It refers to Poe's law;

Quote:Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article.

As for the deity reference, some are more sensitive to it than others, particularly the more recent deconverts.

It depends on the hospital's protocol.

I completely understand your fear as I also have young dependents.
