Hey sorry if I am the bad guy for not jumping on the lynch mob train.

I kind of liked the old system - innocent till proven guilty - but these instant gratification punks think justice is better served by comparing any new case by the cases that came before.....

If one white guy was found guilty of shooting a black guy - then all white guys should be assumed guilty until proven otherwise....


It worked a little different when I was a kid - but we called it racism...  Pre-judging what someone would do based on the color of their skin....


I guess it's back in fashion...

From what I can tell. There was a robbery in their area. They heard about it, got their guns and went out driving looking for the fella. Saw an unarmed black man running and shot him. This is called doing a "Liam Neeson".


They weren't even arrested at the time for what certainly looks like murder.

And - if these guys are acquitted (unlikely - but there may be mitigating conditions we don't know) people like Brian will continue to point at these guys - screaming "MURDERER!!!"...

After all - he is doing exactly that to George Zimmerman - who was acquitted.

What gives anyone the fucking right to chase someone down who isn't armed and shot them?

The "evidence" aspect of our society is the OPPOSITE, presumption of innocence. It isn't up to the black guy, or  or Mexican to prove they didn't do it on the spot without a trial. It is up to LAW enforcement, to show up, AND NOT SHOOT FIRST, but asses, then turn their findings over to a court.

This guy died, without a trial, regardless of guilt or innocence.

The fact that Neeson figured out that was a horrible thing that shouldn't happen before actually having a chance to do it aside, there really wasn't much to that burglary narrative. The only known burglaries in that neighbourhood around that time were the theft of $2500 in fishing gear a month prior, and the theft of a 9mm that one of them had left in their unlocked car. There were reports of a trespasser at another house, but that guy was light-skinned and had tattoos on his arms and Ahmaud was darker-shaded and didn't have tattoos. Obviously an inexcusable oversight, but frankly within character for shit like this. I don't remember which book exactly, but I remember that Malcolm Gladwell once talked about an incident where he was profiled by cops in I think New York City, and it turned out that literally the only thing that Malcolm and the suspect had in common was black skin, and I'm sure that the perp was a different shade of black than Malcolm.

It appears Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael, and Bryan William were following, in hot pursuit, a burglary suspect with solid first hand probable cause, in their neighborhood, and asking/ telling him to stop. It appears their intent was to stop and hold this criminal suspect until law enforcement arrived. Under Georgia Law this is perfectly legal.

Another cop frightened for his life, imagine that.
