how many of you think this is still about Mr Floyd?
RE: how many of you think this is still about Mr Floyd?
I guess we'll never hear any flat repudiation of fascist leaders from this shining example of the australian school system. Oh well.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

  • You dismissed the idea of fascist leaders being democratically elected when Khem talked about it, saying "A democratic fascist... LoL... Whatevz".
  • I pointed out that it is, in fact possible, for a candidate to use democracy to come to power and then demolish any means by which he could lose his power once he has it. I should point out this has happened before, with people like Hitler (in 1932, he was popular enough that literally every party decided to stand behind one candidate just so Hitler wouldn't win and he still ended up coming to power), Robert Mugabe, and Ferdinand Marcos fitting the bill. Dictators who gain power through coups are more common, but authoritarians being democratically elected is not unheard of.
  • You respond that "A fascist leader is authoritarian. He doesn't hold elections every four years." This is despite the fact that A) this does not, in fact, address the scenario I brought up, and B) that even then, many actually do so. They're not free and fair by any means (if they were, they wouldn't be dictatorships), but they do happen. Case in point: North Korea holds elections every few years. They are shams, but they are still technically elections. Does this mean the Kim dynasty aren't dictators?
Where exactly did I misunderstand your arguments?

You know, maybe this is why you made your avatar an Australian King Parrot. You just parrot these tired arguments despite the fact that you don't even understand what you're saying.

Exactly. Intentionally dodging the point...
No dictator. No fascist

What about would-be dictators, like Trump ?
Dictators don't magically turn fascist when they assume power.
Oh oh.
Your definition is simplistic nonsense, and sucks the big one.
Try harder next time.

He won't. He's allergic to trying better. He expects the trumpian collective to hold him up like a common communist.

It's a sad day when we need their help to learn about those things, agreed. Or is that not where you were going with that?

Do you agree with fascists and also believe that The Donald isn't fascist enough?

Hey dumbass... Wacky Wacky Wacky ... Your convoluted bullshit is nothing but a strawman, built to avoid the fact which i made at the very start...

A fascist is a dictator

I find it funny also how communists point the finger and yell "fascist" when they are even worse. Stalin and Mao make Hitler look like an alter boy
The fascist kill others whereas the communists kill their own which is what we see with the left and its identity politics

Are you having a discussion with the voices in your head? Are all of the voices in your head communists? Don't you think that's awfully strange? Anywho, fascists are pretty well known for getting alot of their own dead-ed. Hitler wasn't exactly great for germany or to germans. Do you really think that it's better when a country decides to kill others, rather than minding their own murderous business at home? Additionally, do you actually mean to argue that there can only be a single fascist in a country at a time? Dictators don't put up with competition. What should we call a fascist's followers, the kind of people who might vote them into power, for example?

Do you agree with fascists and that The Donald isn't fascist enough because he's not (yet) a dictator?

Yes, a fascist is a dictator. Literally all the arguments I made in response to your "reasoning" take that fact into account. Unfortunately for your apparent assumptions, while many dictators take the traditional coup route, some dictators actually come to power by exploiting democracy and then, as soon as they have the power, making it so that nobody can challenge their power. It is a concept called Democratic Backsliding, and examples abound, from Hugo Chavez to Ferdinand Marcos to Adolf Hitler to Vladimir Putin to Recep Erdogan.

What do you think I'm even saying?
