What do you think I'm even saying?

I agree a fascist can be elected into office. You keep repeating this even though I never argued against it.
So, we are in agreement with that and we are in agreement with the fact that a fascist is a dictator.

U might say he has fascist characteristics but unless ur claiming that trump is a dictator then it is impossible for him to be a fascist, right?

straw man answers yeah, do you see how you have to change the narrative to fit your excuses? that's not the question i am asking.

Let's do one at a time so as to limit how you can twist the question.. ready?

IF racism is systemic in america against black people who live in america, then why do other black people succeed at all. if systemic racism were true all blacks should have the same sucess rate.

You must not know what that word means.  I'll help you out.  If a person asks someone whether or not a person is a fascist, and that other person then argues that they are not a dictator - that would be moving the goalposts.

You're welcome.

Who is this we shit?  It sounds like you're having a conversation with me wholly inside your head, and I don't really need to be here for you to do that, now do I?  I'm not in BLM, I'm not a communist, and I'm not a marxist. You, unfortunately, are an idiot. I obviously think that trump is a fascist, but I've been asking you what you think. I've even altered my line of questioning to account for your responses to that questioning. I've also allowed for you to retract those statements if you chose - for example, the notion that you prefer fascists to marxists on account of who the fascists kill. Or, at least, your hilariously inept beliefs about who they kill.

Do you agree with fascists and believe that The Donald isn't fascist enough, because he's not (yet) a dictator?

  • You dismissed the idea of fascist leaders being democratically elected when Khem talked about it, saying "A democratic fascist... LoL... Whatevz".
  • I pointed out that it is, in fact possible, for a candidate to use democracy to come to power and then demolish any means by which he could lose his power once he has it. I should point out this has happened before, with people like Hitler (in 1932, he was popular enough that literally every party decided to stand behind one candidate just so Hitler wouldn't win and he still ended up coming to power), Robert Mugabe, and Ferdinand Marcos fitting the bill. Dictators who gain power through coups are more common, but authoritarians being democratically elected is not unheard of.
  • You respond that "A fascist leader is authoritarian. He doesn't hold elections every four years." This is despite the fact that A) this does not, in fact, address the scenario I brought up, and B) that even then, many actually do so. They're not free and fair by any means (if they were, they wouldn't be dictatorships), but they do happen. Case in point: North Korea holds elections every few years. They are shams, but they are still technically elections. Does this mean the Kim dynasty aren't dictators?
Where exactly did I misunderstand your arguments?

You know, maybe this is why you made your avatar an Australian King Parrot. You just parrot these tired arguments despite the fact that you don't even understand what you're saying.

A fascist is a dictator

I find it funny also how communists point the finger and yell "fascist" when they are even worse. Stalin and Mao make Hitler look like an alter boy
The fascist kill others whereas the communists kill their own which is what we see with the left and its identity politics

You "made a fact" ? Really ?  Hehe
Are you about 95 years old ? I have communists under my bed. How do I get rid of them ?
How many Communists do you actually know, and where did you meet them ?
BTW, it's "altar boy", not "alter boy". Is English a second language for you ?
How many (and who) of the left have you seen that they "killed their own" ?
Are you on drugs, or did the nursing home just not lock the computer on the dementia ward ?

Trump is not a full-blown fascist dictator, this I agree with.

Unfortunately, given his regime's blatant bigotry (he started his campaign in 2015 by calling Mexicans rapists and thieves; shortly after being elected, he called white supremacists and Nazis rioting in Charlottesville "good people"; he's currently locking immigrant children in concentration camps [I do not use this as hyperbole, they are concentration camps by definition]; his using COVID as a way to swipe at the Chinese; his using phrases associated with the opponents of the Civil Rights Movement), his "falling in love" with dictators like Kim Jong-Un and Vladimir Putin, the questionable circumstances that led to him getting elected, his explicitly defending policies that would disenfranchise voters (specifically the kind that would vote for Democrats), his recent decision to disperse a crowd of protesters with rubber bullets and tear gas just so he could do a photo op, the fact that he's explicitly stated that "we have the right to do whatever we want," and given what his party did to stonewall his impeachment, there's enough points to cause serious concern about whether America could slide into full-blown fascism. Hell, the fact that explicitly Neo-Nazi groups have been emboldened by Trump since he turned out to be a viable candidate should cause concern. This could just be history repeating itself as farce after the tragedy that was Nazi Germany, but fascism is one part of history most of us DO NOT WANT TO SEE REPEATED.

A fascist is a dictator

One can have Fascist without being a dictator . You can be a fascist without running you country in a full faciscist way .

You never proven Rye Rye is a communist and pointing out Trump fascist tendencies has nothing to do with Communism

Yay engaging in whataboutism (the Nazi's did the same thing during the  nuremberg trials)

Fascists killed plenty of other fascists (night of the long knives) (night of broken glass) (operation valkyrie) The millions they sent off to war and tossed away like tissues.

You have no understanding of that term

No that doesn't follow at all

The existence of successful black people does not disprove systematic racism. There were successful black people during the age of slavery and during Jim Crow too . That in no way refutes institutional racism in America .

Sungula, The Night of the Long Knives is the only one of the three that counts as the fascists killing their own. The Night of Broken Glass was a pogrom against the Jews and Operation Valkyrie was an assassination plot against Hitler.

Sungula views other germans as "their own" - even if the dipshits in the reich didn't. Agno, otoh, buys the dipshits in the reichs contention whole cloth. This is something that he thinks that he agrees with the fascists about.

4.3 million lost men for the wehrmacht. 200ksome-odfd german jews remained in germany after the exodus of the other 300k or so in the years preceding. Other undesirable germans met the same fate, either in camps or hunted down by the einsatzgruppen. Even if we allowed the reichs absurd notions of "their people" - those people would include many allied troops that they fought against.

There is no interpretation of the statement, rational or absurd, that fascists don't kill their own which isn't demonstrably false. They do. In general, they practice on their own before exporting their violence abroad. That's probably the singlemost rational thing about fascism, albeit limited to practicality and process. Our president, likewise, has been practicing here - as he's also been rattling sabers.

I really enjoyed your comments about hoping that history was repeating itself as a farce, but I would point out that even a farce of fascism will damage people. People including Their People™. I find it ironic that Agno is hinging his trollish bullshit on whether or not the The Donald becomes a dictator - because antifa has some thoughts about that. Waiting until a fascist goes full red dragon is waiting until it's entirely too late. Just ask the germans. The underlying subtext is as disgusting as fascism itself. The notion that some genteel form of fascism that avoids becoming a dictatorship would be..better, or just not bad at all.

No dictator, no Bad Thing™.

I was referring to the fact that some in the Nazi party found the The Night of Broken Glass to extreme and some even helped Jews escape only to be killed later, And  Operation Valkyrie were a group Nazi trying to kill their own leader .
