how many of you think this is still about Mr Floyd?
RE: how many of you think this is still about Mr Floyd?
Arguably, fascists are the first and worst victims of fascism. It's a personal tragedy for the fascist, and without the fascist the atrocities which follow would not be possible.

A person has been made to guard children in our concentration camps. They've been systematically desensitized to the brutality of the act and their place in it, and will likely fear any change to the status quo which might, then, hold them personally accountable for what they do. Even after the german army realized that they were being defeated, and even a`s many became disillusioned with nazi propaganda - they needed only to be reminded of what the allies would do to them if they were caught, or their country defeated. It was a rational fear - quite a few of the german dead were technically just missing...missing off to work camps run by marxists™. You know, the kinds of folks that agno and drich both are clearly mortified of.

I'd say for cause, and I'd go so far as to state that this indicates that they know precisely who they are, and what they agree with. They are also afraid of history repeating itself.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So, we are in agreement with that and we are in agreement with the fact that a fascist is a dictator.

U might say he has fascist characteristics but unless ur claiming that trump is a dictator then it is impossible for him to be a fascist, right?
Trump is not a full-blown fascist dictator, this I agree with.

Unfortunately, given his regime's blatant bigotry (he started his campaign in 2015 by calling Mexicans rapists and thieves; shortly after being elected, he called white supremacists and Nazis rioting in Charlottesville "good people"; he's currently locking immigrant children in concentration camps [I do not use this as hyperbole, they are concentration camps by definition]; his using COVID as a way to swipe at the Chinese; his using phrases associated with the opponents of the Civil Rights Movement), his "falling in love" with dictators like Kim Jong-Un and Vladimir Putin, the questionable circumstances that led to him getting elected, his explicitly defending policies that would disenfranchise voters (specifically the kind that would vote for Democrats), his recent decision to disperse a crowd of protesters with rubber bullets and tear gas just so he could do a photo op, the fact that he's explicitly stated that "we have the right to do whatever we want," and given what his party did to stonewall his impeachment, there's enough points to cause serious concern about whether America could slide into full-blown fascism. Hell, the fact that explicitly Neo-Nazi groups have been emboldened by Trump since he turned out to be a viable candidate should cause concern. This could just be history repeating itself as farce after the tragedy that was Nazi Germany, but fascism is one part of history most of us DO NOT WANT TO SEE REPEATED.
No denial Trump has shown he doesn't like having restraints on his power and has tried undermine the checks and balances essential to a democracy. I have no doubt he is a fascist .Just because he isn't running the country like one doesn't mean he isn't one .

He's doing his level best, lol. If only a building would blow up, like it did for his buddy putin, so that he could blame it on islamo-mexican rapists coming in caravans over the borders.

His neo-nazi supporters are working on that, as they've been known to do. Trouble is they keep getting thwarted by the marxists and antifa supersoldiers in our goddamned deep state fbi.

@ everyone who thinks dictators dont hold elections:

Reichstagswahl March 1933:

Hitler was already appointed Reichskanzer by Hindenburg. Since the same people who influenced Hindenburg supported Hitler and since the parliament (Reichstag) was already dissolved, Hitler was de facto in control of things in Germany (Hindenburg was >80 and had only one more year to live anyway):

Measures taken in preparation for this election:
  • Rallies agains the NSDAP were verboten (bye bye freedom of peaceful assembly)
  • Communist and social democratic newspapers were verboten (so much for free press)
  • Any advertisement (signs, posters) were removed or painted over with new NSDAP posters
  • Bullying in many ways of any oppositional people on the streets
Does that ring a bell?

Next step:

Reichtstagswahl November 1933:
  • Communist party: verboten
  • Social democratic party: verboten
  • Other parties dissolved by themselves
  • New law against founding new parties
Effectively voters could only choose between NSDAP and NSDAP supporters.
Nevertheless the NSDAP gained popularity, because the population applauded the removal of the different parties who "only had quarrels" with each other and the NSDAP, and with the big crisis of 1929/30 falling behind the regime was credited for the (inevitable) recovery of the economy. However Hitlers administration by that time was internationally isolated, last but not least since it left the Leage of Nations recently.

Does that ring some bells too?

Reichstagswahl 1936: Hindenburg passed away 2 years ago, and Hitler was chancellor and president, aka. had dictatorial powers.
Reichstagswahl 1938: Hitler was in power for 5 years, and will be in power for only 6 more years. Its one year before WWII.

tl;dr During almost half of Hitlers dictatorship (1933-38) there were "elections".

Need i say more?

What does that mean "Republican states"? Because there are riots in Ferguson in a state of Missouri where the current governor is Mike Parson who is a republican; there are protests in West Palm in Florida which is under Republican governor Ron DeSantis; there are protests in Charleston in South Carolina which is under republican Governor Henry McMaster. There are riots in Washington D.C. which is under Republicans.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If this was any more fake Scooby Doo would be unmasking a villain in one of the images.

That's all i've been saying. There is a difference between that and having fascist tendencies...

My parents were born and raised in a fascist/totalitarian country along with all their family and friends...
It's the main reason they immigrated, refugees from a proper fascist nation whose dictator held power for over 30 years till he died.

From listening to my elders i know what a real fascist society is and American democratic capitalism doesn't even come close.
Comparing this to European fascism is a gross underestimation and almost an insult to the people who lived in real fascist countries.
