Judaism: Blood Libel
#11
RE: Judaism: Blood Libel
Well, this should be easy enough to debunk. Not only are there no verified incidents of this happening, but the consumption of blood is strictly forbidden by the Torah, even if it's of an animal like a cow:

Leviticus 17:10-4 Wrote:10If anyone of the house of Israel or of the aliens who reside among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood, and will cut that person off from the people. 11For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you for making atonement for your lives on the altar; for, as life, it is the blood that makes atonement. 12Therefore I have said to the people of Israel: No person among you shall eat blood, nor shall any alien who resides among you eat blood. 13And anyone of the people of Israel, or of the aliens who reside among them, who hunts down an animal or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth. 14For the life of every creature—its blood is its life; therefore I have said to the people of Israel: You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.

This is a myth that can only survive with the most profound ignorance. And when shit like this is easily searchable (and there's about 100 verses concerning the topic in the Bible), THERE IS NO EXCUSE. Especially when Jehovah's Witnesses are notorious for using the exact same verses to justify their refusal to do blood transfusions.

I know that there are some Mosaic laws that have some loopholes, like the prohibition on charging interest (which may be done, but only to the out-groups), but the consumption of blood is not one of them.

Was waiting for this. First of all. Quick to defend jews but not christians. Meaning Judaism = Atheist in culture infliction of western world

But either case. There is the whole occult weirdo stuff in it. Talmud and such. They dont strictly follow the bible as a whole. Difference with Christian culture is Jesus condemns man made traditions. This is not case with judaism

Also if we go by the bible.

Abraham sacrificing Isaac. Then God stops killing his own most beloved son. Just saying?

Well then i know. First of all. Atheists are quick to defend jews, not christians or muslims. Because Atheism = Judaistic culture in western world. Thats why in USA they are very degenerate.

But either case. Christian culture with Jesus condemns man made traditions. This is not case with Judaism. Which is why they have Talmud. Meaning they dont rely on bible alone. They can make up other stuff if rabbis are ok with it. Its basically a religion where everything goes.

Also. One example

Abraham almost sacrificing Isaac. His only Son. But God stops him. So yeah...
Blood magic. Maybe they believe it purifies or something. And not canibalism type. But occultism in judaism is the most degenerate stuff i have seen though in some cases. Can almost compare it to wicca or that stuff that occured in England

RE: Judaism: Blood Libel
Good point about the Talmud. Do you think you can find an part where the Talmud sanctions the eating of human blood? You can search the Talmud here, and here I found one that affirms the Torah's prohibition:

Ketubot 60a:6 Wrote:Thus Scripture says, “The camel because it chews the cud…it is unclean to you”—“it” is unclean; but human milk is not unclean but clean. I might have excluded only [human] milk because [the use of milk] is not equally [forbidden] in all cases but I would not exclude [human] blood since [the prohibition of eating blood] is equally applicable in all cases. Hence Scripture says, “It,” only “it” is forbidden; human blood, however, is not forbidden but permitted.

You think you can find a contradicting claim in the Talmud, be my guest.

Doesnt this give a vague indication that its ok?

But i have no context to talmud. Only that i found this. Mainly i am studying something else as far as i know

susceptible to ritual impurity? As it is stated: “You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out upon the earth like water” (Deuteronomy 12:24). Blood that is poured out like water, such as that of a slaughtered, non-sacrificial animal, renders food susceptible to ritual impurity. However, sacrificial blood, which is not poured out like water and is instead sprinkled on the altar, does not render food susceptible to ritual impurity.

Found it from "Pesachim" on that link you gave me

Who exactly is very degenerate and in what way?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Judaism is stupid but not as stupid as christianity.
To be clear scientology is laughably idiotic but more likely than the christianity.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

A bit more context to the language of the Talmudic point I sourced:
Quote:And the opposite applies to blood: Human blood that has been removed from the body is forbidden, but if it has not yet been removed, it is permitted. As it is taught in a baraita: If some human blood was on a loaf of bread, one scrapes off the blood and then he may eat the bread. Since the blood was detached from the body, it is forbidden by rabbinic law, but if blood was between the teeth, he may suck it and swallow it without concern, as the blood is permitted if it has not been removed from the body.

And frankly, do you think you can elaborate on the sort of rituals you think Jews do with gentile blood on passover? Because you've done nothing of the sort.
