Rather a selfish attitude, Chatpilot, if I may say. You could not bring the boys home from Iraq, Obama can and he is going to, as an example.
I don't believe you are totally selfish, it's probably just this way of communicating ( again ).

Of course one man can turn a country completely around. He just has to do a little outside the box thinking. Gandhi, Napoleon, the Founding Fathers, Lenin and Mao, Nelson Mandela, you get the idea. Not that I'm sure Obama will be able to, but he's at least got some potential.

Anything can happen. And if REALLY big positive changes can't be made then maybe at least basic ones can. And if not that maybe just a FEW small ones.
Or if not that then maybe just some tiny ones. Everything counts! It all adds up. When something positive happens that can lead to more positive no matter how insignificant it is. As long as stuff is more positive than negative then even the tiny changes matter. Fine-tuning at all that jazz. Micromanagement matters as much as macromanagement, after all - I think Macro is made up of Micro isn't it?
Everything counts I say. You get enough small changes and that can make a big difference; you don't always need really big changes.
But of course if there's big changes then that's even better!

Napoleon?
I'd say he made some major changes to the political system. You think he's a bad example?

A few people are on the right track, here. Does anyone care that he has still not proven he is an American citizen? The most important person in our country is probably a terrorist!! And what about our coat of arms? Obama changed it. (before he was elected even.) so now it means he will not protect America. His own moronic partner dropped some hints, even ("...there will be unpopular decisions..." etc.) And what about his inauguration? Yea, yea, Adrian. Maybe he's nervous. But hey, he INTENTIONALLY was trying to leave out the parts that mean that he stands for America. That's not nervousness, that's betrayal. And he refuses to put his hand over his heart for our national pledge/anthem. He doesn't want to "offend" anyone. IT'S AMERICA!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR PLEDGE, GET OUT!!!!!! And all of you are so nieve and blind that you either didn't see the end of America coming, or you didn't care. Mark my words, there will not be another democratic election in the U.S. (and just another point, our "president elect" is NOT humble, as you would all love to think. He just couldn't wait to destroy us. He couldn't hold his title until his inauguration. He had to give himself a name with the word president in it before that. And go to google or someplace and look up the laws, if you want to call them that, that he has past. They're executive orders.)

Would you like to educate a Brit as to what agenda you believe your president is working to?

The fact he got on the voting bill is pretty sufficient as proof.

A lot of bold assertions here you have absolutely no proof of. Either back up your statements or retract these claims.

The most important person in our country is probably a terrorist!! Firstly, check out the facts. There are no serious accusations about Obama's birth place after the research was done. He not only released his full birth certificate, but the Havaii authorities said it was real, and fact checking organisations have also concluded that it is not fake. Secondly, a newspaper clipping from the day of his birth in the Honolulu Advertiser lists him as a birth, so unless his family were conspiring to get him the presidency as a baby...(which is of course silly anyway because his parents both died when he was young). Thirdly, I find it a bit offensive that you think people from other countries are "terrorists".

Eh?

Watch the video I posted, and perhaps you should read the inauguration pledge yourself. The video clearly shows it was the Judge that said the wrong line, and Obama politely stopped to let him correct himself, but then they both got in a muddle and decided to just get it all over with. Not only that, but Obama recited the pledge word for word in the Oval Office the next day.

On one occasion! He fails to put his hand over his heart for one occasion and suddenly everything is doomed. How about these photos:

Y'know, for an American you don't seem to know much about American politics. The term "president-elect" is the standard title for someone who has been elected to the position but does not hold it yet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_elect
When the next election comes up, or when America isn't destroyed in the next 4 years, I'll ring you up and you can explain to me why you were so wrong. Obama is an American, and he got elected through a fair process. Just because you don't like him or his party doesn't give you the right to make up stuff about him. At least criticize the stuff he does really wrong, like people did with Bush and the Iraq war...
