If I had extra money to spend I would TOTALLY buy it.
The translation also wins, especially this part. Quote:The chair of the American flag and the flag pole is a timber, and竿頭旗立台uses the metal parts.

The man is clearly an impressive orator. Better than recent incumbents.
Bit scary though that off-script, the most powerful man on the planet was unable to repeat verbatim part of the oath! At this point, the best I can say is that he's not Bush ( or indeed any other nutjob fundi politician ). I hope he closes the abomination that is Guantanemo IMMEDIATELY, and that he brings the boys home from Iraq and Afghanistan VERY QUICKLY. After that, I hope he is more of a dove than a hawk on the world stage. The world waits.
A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

Actually the chief justic fucked it up by and caused both of them to stumble. They probably were both just nervous anyways. It was a highly anticipated event despite it's simplicity.

Afterwards he did manage to recite his speech from what appeared to be memory (at least only occasional glances at his papers). Good show I say!
And of course he has to pretend to be a Christian

As far as I know, don't they ( politicians ) read from several screens with running script?

Well ... seeing some of the things in the press this morning I'd say Obama's off to a good start.
* So far he has frozen senior Whitehouse staff salaries (from the POV of if there's a credit crunch the and wage restraint is required then the government should lead it). * He's instructed various agencies to lean towards freedom of information rather than trying to hide everything by any legal means available. * He's stopped certain people working on things they were working on before (presumably to stop specific interests) and prevented staff leaving his administration from lobbying on the same during his administration * He made 4 calls to Middle Eastern leaders. * He's directed a re-assessment of the Iraq/Afghanistan campaign * And he has stopped all Guantanamo Bay trials with a view to closing the prison down within a year. It's possible this guy really means business. Kyu Angry Atheism

Obama didn't fuck it up. The Chief Justice ruined it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con...id=topnews Quote:After flubbing his one role on Inauguration Day -- administering the oath of office to Obama -- Roberts traveled to the White House to re-administer the oath. I just watched the oath being retaken on Anderson Cooper's 360 Podcast, The one Obama tried to recite at the inauguration matched the one recited in the re-do. So it's not "scary" at all just Robert's being an idiot.
