Never made that assumption. Actually this is the only song of theirs I am familiar with. I could care less who the lead singer was, all I know is I like the song.

BTW, it is one "l" not two..... Alan Parsons, not Allan Parsons.

I actually googled the lyrics first "Where do we go from here" because I didn't know who the band was. All I remembered just now were the lyrics. I made the same mistake with Allan vs Alan too.

It only proves that you like music designed for consumer approval. I bet you love riding in elevators...

Parsons is the PRODUCER.   He is not a musician...

He just gets the credit for the music created by an ever changing cast of players...

Actually, Parsons IS a musician/composer, and a pretty good one.

I am so sick of this shit......

Ok fine genus, post music you like. Please don't tell me you hate everything that has hit the billboards in all of history.

I am pretty damned sure if I went through your music collection I could find tons of stuff that made the charts regardless of genre.

That’s a fair point. Virtually all music is designed for consumer approval. Always has been.

Also, I’m going to be classy enough to not point out that you typed ‘genus’ instead of ‘genius’. 😉

FUCK! ....... I do try, trust me. I really do try.

In fact I spent over 10 minutes  just now trying to figure out the spelling of "genre".

I didn't know if it started with a "c" or an "s" or an "sc" or a "j". Turns out it starts with a "g". If you pronounce "genre" it sounds like "Jon rah" or John raw".

If you think I am bad now with my spelling, trust me. I was far worse when my parents told me to look it up in a dictionary.

The "studio motif" was popular in the late 70s early 80s. Now mind you, I am not talking about genre, but the fact many bands made videos with a studio motif.

Anyone want to guess one of the pioneers of this look? Gimme, Gimme a trope after midnight. Rush did the same thing with Tom Sawyer.

And RUSH "Tom Sawyer"

What is the point of asking us to guess if you’re going to immediately post the answer?

Only a "genus" would get it.....

"I" left out the "i" on porpoise. The purpose of this was genetic in the genus of my genius. And in 10 billion years there will be no point.

No, seriously - why would you ask us to guess something and then not give us a chance to guess?

I’m not trying to give you a hard time, I’m genuinely curious.
