However, the problem with that is that Trump would have to have proof that Cohen is lying, and a lawsuit would mean that Cohen would be able to expose the president even further by requesting documents that only he and those close to the president would know about.

So Trump instead focuses on attacking Cohen's character.

If you check the long history of lawsuits filed against the orange fuck, vs the ones he has counter sued, the record is clear.

Even the fact that he bragged about only having to pay a fraction of what the "University" investors sued him for, says long term, that he has been and always well be a lying sack of shit.

I don't think either Cohen or Bolton are lying. I just wish they had not waited.

If they hadn’t waited, it would have made no difference. You said so yourself.

It isn't "either/or"

Ultimately it would have been great when the 50 former Republican intel agents warned America not to elect Trump while he was running, and society listened to them.

But I do also think if we had the same GOP as Nixon now, Trump would have long since been gone.

So yea, seems like a wash, sure.

Then what’s the point of wishing these people had spoken up earlier? I mean, why wish that if (as you said) their books wouldn’t have changed any minds? Trump would still be president.

This was my point.

Neance.

I do believe both Bolton and Cohen in what they have disclosed. I do think both of them have buyer's remorse.

But I also think they are opportunists too.

They ARE not saying anything new.

What is "neance"?

The hardcore cultists that follow Trump will follow him off a cliff. His cultish followers have proven, at every turn, that despite repeated warning of the cliff and the impending fall and how far down it goes, there's no stopping their march to doom.

Analogy aside, instead of showcasing the criticisms of Trump, ask what would make them vote Biden; if their answer is "nothing", then there you have it. No point in trying to influence them. Just try to build bridges to those not far gone and still on the fence.

I suggested ‘nuance’, but didn’t get an answer.

I just asked if that’s what you meant. You seem weirdly proud of your inability to spell simple, common words. I thought you’d appreciate my interest.

You're weird. Why would anyone here worry about you in such grandiose terms? People do have lives outside of this forum, ya'know? Life histories and experiences that I'm sure isn't as captivating when relegated as text on a screen here, seeing as a lot is lost in translating that to text. I don't know about you, but the time I spend here is more about entertainment value and sharing some thoughts and experiences from out there from the real world and make up for it with sorry-of-an-excuse text formatting and effects on this online forum.
