If you think violent reaction to a party that thinks nothing of installing a chief executive hand picked by our geostrategic enemy, preserving him from impeachment for Unprecedented malfeasance In office, and seeking to maintain him in office despite the fact that he all but declare himself not subject to every democratic norm and tradition that the country has held for 250 year Is “extreme” or “drama” Queen, perhaps you should also physically reintegrate with the log on which you have morally beEn nothing more than a inert bump.

You know nothing about me, my views or my politics.

I just like stirring up preachers, ones that exist on either extreme. Preachers of doom and gloom. You were very easy.

you think you had the power to stir my position?

you underestimate your own feebleness in this just as you underestimate how little will matter the politics and views of those who think our current situation will be corrected by more business as usual politics, and as a result did not react radically to the current situation.

it has.

the difference is some people think the purpose of democracy is to enable THEM to win, so it certainly can’t be allowed stand in the way of THEIR winning.  once the perceive victory is in their grasp, they have no more need for democracy.

others think fallen democracy is just more democracy as usual, much like a fallen tree is never dead because the fungi and worms decomposing it are still quite alive.

and still other thinks more radical action is needed if democracy were ever be stood up again as a meaningful democracy.

Nothing to do with revenge . Stopping the Republicans from stacking the court is not revenge .

Quote:What and whose purpose?

Is your position that the opposite side (in this case left/dems) never does "evil" in the minds of others? Eye of the beholder.
The purpose of keeping one side from stacking the court and no one said one side doesn't do evil . But in this case one side is clearly in the wrong

So you see no negatives to a court stacked with members on one political party ? Especially when the people Trump wants to stack it with are unqualified partisan loonies .

Sure, it’s a democracy - a republic is a form of democracy. There’s lots of different brands of democracy. For example, we have a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary government, but still a democracy. What you’ve got hold of over there is a representative democracy.
