I certainly don't blame Trump for COVID but I do blame his lying about it and downplaying it against all the medical and scientific advice available to him.
If he had simply followed, and urged others to follow, the CDC recommendations we probably wouldn't be in the mess we are in. Is that a fact...no. But it seemed to work pretty well in several other areas of the world.

Way to launch into a bunch of what I didn't say. I criticized Trump's statement that people are learning to live with the virus. That's simply not true when so many are dying from it. Dead people don't live with anything and the ones they leave behind struggle to live with the loss. But you felt the need to jump in and defend his foolish statement with a false analogy followed by strawmen. I drew a reasonable conclusion from that.
