This is a repulsive claim.  I'm not interested in hanging out with people who act that way, are you?

Why, then, would I worship a god that acted that way?

It seems even less logical to decide that you would prefer the eternal torment - anyone who would disagree is a moran.  The more sensible alternative of course is to deny it all.
Remember the alternative to the torment option (apart from the denial thing) is supposed to be quite nice.  No more sickness, no more death, no more night...
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalm 16:11)

Pascal lost that wager three and a half centuries ago. Time to move on.

Hello runewell.

Speaking of playing games can I ask some questions and make some observations?

In you profile under "Religious Views" you entered ???. After reading several of your posts it is apparent to me that you are christian. Were the question marks an attempt at deception or hiding your belief? Or is it that you question the validity of your religious views?

Would you like to tell me what your denomination is? My guess is that you are a version of catholic based on your avatar.

You've made some statements that the god you believe in exists in reality, has superhuman attributes, and should considered as a directing/shaping force for humans actions and social concepts. What concrete evidence can you provide me that such a god exists in reality, other than a concept made by humans?

From what I can tell it's humans that play the games using god as a implement. You seem to be playing the game also.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Based on prior personal experience, it could just be a way of saying they don't follow any religion, that what they have instead is a relationship with Jesus. Assuming they're the standard Evangelical "born again" Christian.

Game is an interesting term. I see this world more as the setting of a proxy war between two opposing forces, Light and Darkness, except the outcome is already determined, one side is destined to win and the other is doing everything it can to make that victory as costly as possible.
Humans have the potential to soar up to previously unimaginable heights, but also descend to the level of demons and slaughter each other on the scale of billions. They can inflict unspeakable misery on each other, but also uplift each other with Godlike compassion.
You can characterize this as a sort of metaphysical doctrine but I tend to believe there is a secretive cabal of very powerful, very intelligent, but very evil people who are manipulating a lot of things on this planet. They are shadow players who remain largely anonymous to the public. They manage to communicate their will down an orderly hierarchy or pyramid which is executed precisely. The most powerful world leaders, politicians, business people, celebrities, and even some religious leaders are all part of this network, but even they are not at the higher rungs which are occupied by the anonymous.

The term game also makes me think of it as a game of chess. In chess you have crucial pieces like the queen, bishops, rooks, and knights, and you have the more expendable pawns.
In this battle or game the actual players moving the pieces remain hidden from us. They are invisible movers. But since we are in the game itself, in the world of the chessboard, we can observe and are affected by the movement of the pieces. We shouldn’t doubt the existence of the players because they are invisible, we should try to use our minds to discern their hand in events that are unfolding all around us.
However, the most powerful pieces on the board, say the queens, are able to directly receive a sort of telepathic communication from the players. In religious terminology, we call it revelation and visions.
The generals in Hell’s army, the human monsters, those anonymous individuals that occupy the highest rungs of the pyramid I earlier described, can even, at times, personally interact with evil spirits and demons that represent the second hidden player in the game moving the black pieces on the chessboard.
But as I understand it, in their side, the non-human demons are ancient and have seen much of history which is preserved in their collective memory. They have the experience. But the human monster has something they lack: higher intelligence and strategy. The demonic element knows the deeper religious truths and reality of this cosmic struggle, but the human element is better equipped to plan a geopolitical strategy to extend Hell’s dominion over the planet. It’s a symbiotic relationship.

In each of our selves there is a struggle that most of us are destined to lose. It is the struggle to retain our goodness and not descend into monstrosity. Everyone has their personal weakness that is going to be exploited and taken advantage of until it controls us completely, and we are utterly beholden. Let me give the example of drugs. This is a difficult struggle many of you can understand. Overcoming drug addiction takes every ounce of human willpower, solid mental discipline but it can be done.
Sadly, most lose this critical battle and surrender. You can see how they are slowly transformed from once having been cheerful, normal people leading promising lives, to ending up looking like Hell, living in filth, with a one track mind on how to get their next high. They are no longer human but have been completely subsumed into their animality.
That is the parable of most humans who lose their struggle with vice, and lose their souls to the Devil.

You should make that into a Marvel movie.

RE: God plays games
In this war, each side has an ace up their sleeve they will put into play at the climax. For Hell, it is the ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing, a false religious leader for whose appearance the stage is still being set. This is a man who apparently performs miracles, supernatural or paranormal feats, and deceives most of humanity into following him. Most of humanity isn’t atheist, they are the people of the third world who tend to believe in all manner of superstition like sorcery, spiritism, astrology, fortune telling, necromancy, and so forth. He will capture their allegiance with ease.

At the same time, he has a geopolitical agenda which centers on the troubled region of the Middle East. But the real secret to his success is he emerges at a time of catastrophe when humanity is looking for a savior. We can already see how the world is heading in the direction of environmental disaster leading to accute fresh water shortage, drought, famine, starvation. A mass starvation the likes of which humanity has never seen. In such a scenario, someone who comes along and is able to fertilize barren land, quicken crops and feed his followers will be hailed as nothing less than a messiah. But the price for sharing the prosperity he offers to the most desperate is their souls. Those who resist him are “religious fundamentalists” for whom he will deal with with the most advanced military might.

For the Light, the pawns or foot soldiers are saints who possess knowledge of deep religious truths, are paragons of virtue and good living, and dedicated to serving their fellow man. As they ascend in their faith and goodness, they apparently become more “mystical”, more “radical” in their critique of society, more “fiery” in their rhetoric, until they take on prophetic qualities. They begin to exhibit a personal magnetism which literally draws a certain kind of people to them.
To the human monsters on the opposite end of the spectrum, there are people drawn to them too, people who live empty lives and whose hearts are void of feeling. They don’t even know how but one day they end up in someone’s presence that seems ordinary to the untrained eye, but they immediately recognize him as something else.
Then they are tasked with the most vile missions. To go around murdering random people. To kidnap and molest innocent children. To play with people’s minds and drive them to suicide. They no longer possess a conscience, any shred of humanity. They are already in Hell, now they are simply instruments to spread more chaos and help set the stage for the one who is coming.

Definitely make this into a Marvel movie, that sounds something straight outta QAnon.

Seraph is banned. I wish I could say the reason was being a troll-faced stupid-head, but I'm not that petty. He was a sock of Cherub-19.
