A ticket to alpha centauri, jettison the bad eggs en route in a black hole, and we get to live forever?

But wait...theeeeeres more!

Yes. The Quran stated that those in hell will endure:

Quote:Sura 35, The Quran:

(36) And those who have denied—for them is the fire of Hell wherein they are never finished off and thus die, nor is its punishment lightened for them. Thus We repay every staunch denier1 . Fadel Soliman, Bridges’ translation

While the ones in paradise will endure:

Quote:Sura 15,The Quran:
https://quran.com/15/48?translations=

(45) Indeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and springs. Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
(46) ˹It will be said to them,˺ “Enter in peace and security.” Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
(47) We will remove whatever bitterness they had in their hearts.1 In a friendly manner, they will be on thrones, (48) facing one another. Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
(49) No fatigue will touch them there, nor will they ever be asked to leave. Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

The truth is that Quran is completely ignorant of the Moon, and Muslim scholars have been corrupting the Quran and also verses about the Moon to deceive Muslims into thinking that Quran is somehow in tune with modern science, and save Islam first from embarrassment and then its downfall.

I saw Apostate Prophet talking about this thing

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Obviously I don't agree with Winterhold that there's anything miraculous in these verses, but am not sure if this is even about an eclipse (how we understand it). It's some strange event (sun and moon being joined together) that's supposed to happen on Judgement Day.

Looks like magic book says all of the atheists will be in a black hole. Choice. I was worried that we might get stuck with muslims on alpha centauri. Don't even know why I'd go through the trouble of making the trip if the place is filthy with the same sort of nuts as back home. Glad that's cleared up.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Exactly. Some atheists here insist however that it should be about an eclipse, so they can lay out their astronomical insights Hilarious

Not exactly - atheists are not waiting, and planning, for a Judgement Day.

That's not my point. Someone who doesn't understand Arabic should refer to mainstream exegesis of the Qur'an, not attempt stupid lone wolf interpretations.

Listen to these ethnocentric pieces of shit. Telling us that we can't possibly understand the words of a god...unless we understand their language.

Go fuck yourselves.

I think their particular brand of cockamamie dogma strictly forbids such actions.
