[Quranic Reflection]: moon absorbed by the sun in the Quran: far future.
RE: [Quranic Reflection]: moon absorbed by the sun in the Quran: far future.
You provide your faith as it is, which looks to be a product of western syncretism and islamist revision.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Magic book was commissioned and produced after the death of Big Mo.  If that's a problem for you, like the method of it's construction is a problem for you, like hadith is a problem for you, so be it.

I find it hard to agree with you because our faith as Muslims is based on this bit: the Quran is written since the time of Mohammed.

So we wont change our faith for you; sorry.

That would be a hell of a problem for your faith, since it's own founders exhaustively recorded otherwise.

I don't see why a person should be required to believe something that is untrue in order to be a muslim, though I suppose it just goes with the territory?

This talk of ahadith reminds me of that scene from Steve Martin's "The Jerk," where he proclaims that he doesn't need anything! Except this ashtray... and this thermos... and this lamp.... and this chair....

Progressive revelation is funny.

Are you sure? but the wikipedia link says you're a liar:

Quote:Sunni and Shia scholars generally believe that the Quran was written down in its entirety at the time of Muhammad's death.[citation needed] Muhammad's cousin Ibn Abbas describes the way in which the final version of the Quran was fixed: "the prophet recited the book before Gabriel every year in the month of Ramadan, and in the month in which he died he recited it before him twice."[18] It is believed that the term "reciting the Quran twice" means compiling all the Quranic revelations into a complete and final version. It is understood[citation needed] that toward the end of Muhammad's life a special act of revelation occurred in which a final and complete version of the Quran was created. The term 'recite', which is used here, is referring to the custom where a Quranic scholar recites the entire Quran from beginning to end a number of times before a senior scholar. According to this tradition the act of recital is being performed by Muhammad, with the angel Gabriel playing the role of superior authority.[19] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of..._tradition

Do you see the very large "generally"?
It means that our faith as Muslims for 1400 years have been different from what you say.

No, it tells us that shia and sunni have generally silly beliefs that they agree on - which we already knew.

Magic book was commissioned and produced after the death of Big Mo. Fact. If your faith has a problem with facts....that's a problem for your faith - not facts. It's up to you to decide whether being wrong about this is a requirement of your faith. I think it would be silly, but it is your faith, after all.
