That's always been the fear - that someone with Trump's inclinations but a better brain would emerge.
But I seriously don't think it's Hawley. Trump 2.0 probably won't emerge until after the next midterms. Boru

Trump's 4 years were the perfect "test phase" for populism and white supremacy. Now Hawley and his likes have all the data they need to prepare for what can happen and what won't happen. But either it's Hawley or another is irrelevant: Trump II is coming... There's always the chance that the Yanks will learn from their mistakes, especially after the most recent unpleasantness. Let's see how the mid-terms play out. Boru

It was antifa false flag against dear leader. Dems are in control and everything sucks. That's how midterms are going to roll out.
Even if we knew we were wrong, we wouldn't change course so fast. Couldn't, even - call it societal momentum. We will learn, eventually, as we always do, but what we learn may not be the lesson that anyone hopes.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
The aftermath of Covid and Democrat complacency, will guarantee that the Republicans take over House and Senate in 2022. It isn't even a question. At that point, the alt-right will demand the Biden be impeached as payback for Dear Leader.
The Kansas City Star condemned Hawley. Simon & Schuster cancelled his book deal. What effect that has on his political future remains to be seen.
Nevertheless, I again remind Winterhold to clean up his own back yard before he starts on the one across the sea. (January 8, 2021 at 1:24 pm)Ranjr Wrote: The Kansas City Star condemned Hawley. But Trump -and all American presidents before him- intervened heavily in the affairs of other countries. Take Trump: he said it loud and clear that 'he protected MBS's ass'. The USA is a global empire; so literally its ghost already exists in most affairs in this world. So to focus on MBS; I must must focus on his foreign sponsor too who keep him alive..or in Trump's words: "protecting his ass". |
