Actually, while OLB and I don't agree on everything, he pretty much did nail the first part.
Perhaps some did predict it and thought it was obvious, but I bet most of us were on the edge of our seats on election night. I was.
It wasn't until late in the night that it became obvious that Biden had won.
As for the second part, we will have to wait and see. But it seems Biden is determined to reverse much of the damage as quickly as possible.

It's pretty easy to talk about healing - and unity - and representing everyone - even those that voted against you......
It's a gold plated motherfucker to actually DO it. Especially when all those who voted against you think you are a crooked, evil bastard intent on destroying their way of life.
Good luck to President Biden - I hope he can do some good.
I just wouldn't put any money on anything other than gridlock and political fuckery as per usual.

I wouldnt put any money on there being any value to moving those impossible chains, either. Yeah it's going to be hard to reach the rock headed trumpists, but even if you could, would you want to...? To what end? To include their authoritarian fantasies in your big american tent?
