Yes, I believe that Trump would not meet with the family of this particular victim. Even if he wouldn't mind, his base would mind, and that is all that matters to Trump's ego.
But Trump has met with the family of victims. I posted the link above. His base didn't seem to mind. His base would not mind one bit if Trump met with the Floyd family. Trump's base is not the SS. This is called Trump Derangement Syndrome. You see millions of Nazis where they do not exist. Come back down to reality my brother. Trump lost the election and his popularity is way down now. He can't hurt you anymore. You're safe now.

President Trump had a meeting with several families of victims. For some, the meeting became contentious because of the presence of police, but others complimented the POTUS. Arbery's mother called Mr. Trump compassionate and receiving. Some families chose not to attend the executive order signing because they wanted to avoid the appearance of a photo op.
So yeah, Trump did meet with families of black victims, and I didn't hear one peep out of his base complaining about this. A lot of his base is the alt-right. That means that they are against illegal immigration mostly. Not that they are against their president daring to let black people into the Whitehouse or meeting with blacks. President Trump met with rappers and I don't remember his base complaining. He got people out of jail as a favour to Kim Kardashian and that didn't hurt Trump's popularity among his base. He signed a criminal justice reform bill, and I don't remember Trump's base flipping out over that.
Yeah, Trump was a massive dumpster fire, but let's try to not rewrite history as if the man was Richard Spencer. Black and latino support only grew for Trump over the course of his presidency. He must have done/ said something these groups liked.
