Are the spas where the people were targeted likely clandestine sites for prostitution, as is frequently the case for "massage parlours" does anybody know? That might explain the fundy Christian outrage angle better than the "asians spread COVID" hypothesis.
Not at all....
What I am doing is mocking you. You don' t post this stuff because " you're outraged". You post this shit because you' re a sanctimonius ass who loves an opportunity to show everyone what a great, concerned person you are - and if the whole world followed your lead we' d all be farting rainbows.... We will soon be treated to the " Evil NRA and manufacurers handing out guns like candy" speech.... Then you will fail to offer any solutions or disclose the location of the gun giveaways... Have I missed anything? (March 17, 2021 at 10:06 am)onlinebiker Wrote: Not at all.... This isn't about me. I am so sick of your childish fear when someone points out that we have a problem. Yes, you are missing empathy and compassion for victims of firearm violence. I have offered solutions. You are too scared to consider them. I have listed solutions in countless threads before. You choose to ignore them. Keep making a joke out of this and show everyone how heartless you are. You' re the one shitting all over hisself..... ... And you have NEVER offered a solution. Prove me wrong. Offer a workable solution here..... And " stop handing out guns like candy" is not a solution. It is a pronouncement of an imbecile... Yes you are afraid, otherwise you wouldn't blindly defend a system of crappy laws that are NOT reducing firearm violence. Why is it no other western country of our allies has the level of firearm violence we do? If "no record" at time of buy insured no violence after a legal buy, we'd have no firearm violence at all. It should not be as simple as "no record".
Listen up.Skidmarks -
I have NEVER defended the current laws - and have FREQUENTLY stated why they ( as I see it ) - don' t work. Nor will they work by adding a bunch more moronic shit - like you would propose. This is the reality - you can' t keep people who might in the future commit a gun offense from buying a gun. Because you don' t have a crystal ball - and cannot predict with ANY accuracy who will become a problem. Therefore your method can only assume ALL gun buyers will (or could) become a problem - and you allow NO sales. (I suspect that' s far more accepted by you and your kind than you are willing to admit). Therefore ALL we can do is strictly regulate sales to those people who have already through violence been determined as unfit for firearm ownership. I have frequently outlined how to do this by an ID check on ALL sales - be it by FFL or private individual. But this doesn' t appease you or your kind. You insist we need a working crystal ball...
I agree IDs should be required for all firearm sales.
But even given that, someone can have problems and never be reported to police and fly under the radar. I think waiting periods will help too. I think there should be a limit on clip size, and ammo too. I think red flag laws will help too. This guy yesterday, according to those who knew him had no record of violence before. But it is obvious he was having issues otherwise he wouldn't have done it. A mental evaluation and waiting period might have prevented this.
1. A law that is only for some isn't a real law. The law must apply to everyone or no one.
2. You need a crystal ball to know all human beings are cable violence or criminal activity and a history of violence is insufficient standard. I know these facts get gun-nuts jammies in a ruffle. But we don't care about their "feels"

Live updates: Suspect in Atlanta-area spa shootings that left eight dead might have frequented businesses, authorities say (msn.com)
Sounds like the shooter hated himself for his sex addiction and decided to remove further temptation. The victims being Asian wasn't a factor. The shooter couldn't control his penis or his gun. Police arrested Robert Aaron Long, 21, after a brief manhunt and said he is the suspect in all three shootings. Authorities said Long took responsibility, and they believe he acted alone. “He made indicators that he has some issues, potentially sexual addiction, and may have frequented some of these places in the past,” Sheriff’s Capt. Jay Baker said at a news conference. “We still have a lot of things to process.” Baker later added that in their interview with Long, 21, the suspect indicated that the spas were “a temptation” for him. “It’s a temptation for him that he wanted to eliminate,” Baker told reporters. “It’s still early on, but those were comments that he made.” ...
