An Arab, most likely, but not necessarily a Muslim. Remember Ali David Sonboly? His parents were Iranians, but he was born in Germany and became so assimilated into the host culture that he became a fanboy of Anders Behring Breivik, y'know, the guy who was convinced that Europe was being invaded by Muslims and shot up an island full of kids as a last-ditch attempt at stopping the supposed invasion? He ended up shooting up a McDonald's on the fifth anniversary of Breivik's attacks, and it sure as shit wasn't an act of Jihad.

Also, it's jarring to look back at the footage of him being led out and finding out he's actually a 21-year-old with an Arabic name. He looked like a chubby, balding 40-something man. If I were to guess at his ethnicity before finding out his name, I would have guessed he might be Italian or Jewish (what I saw from the footage looked like Allen Ginsberg or Dom DeLuise). The furthest east I would have ventured was Armenian (Ken Davitian.) Fucking Hell, he looked twice as old as he actually was. He must have lived a hard life.

Not sure if you are trying to be funny here. But America's firearm violence epidemic has to do with how many we make and how easy they are to get, regardless of motive.  Our Christian right love guns as much as Bin Laden did. 

I will say Israel is just as religiously motivated in stupidly following Bibi as White Christian nationalists stupidly follow Trump.

But that doesn't make MSB hero either.

Plus, regardless of what you think of Israel, one thing is clear: they're not trying to commit atrocities in America. I have yet to find a mass shooting or terrorist attack in American history that's been proven to have been committed for Israel or Zionism or what have you.

Granted, this clearly isn't the case in the Middle East, but we're not talking about how fucked the Middle East is in this thread; we're talking about how fucked America is.

Are you upset because the Israelis are better at intelligence than ISIS? And yes, I get that you were making a joke, but the intelligence service in question would be Mossad (since the US is overseas).
