RE: Gaetzgate
The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for people under 18. Rep. Gaetz is delighted.

I was going to ask what they were thinking, but I should probably have guessed that they don't actually give a shit. Vaush called it a couple months ago:

This should be a train wreck.

Reading that Mother Jones article I wonder what daddy thinks of Matt now, when he's been found out as a paedophile sex trafficer.

A “Q” person said this to me yesterday in response to me bringing up Matt Gaetz:

“The Matt Gaetz story is again, all about showing the masses how the Deep State blackmails politicians.”

They’re a lost cause. They’re perfectly psychologically comfortable with bending and twisting reality to suite their...at this point I can only think of it as a pre-supposition, since they don’t seem capable of existing without believing it’s true. This same person told me Tom Hanks and other actors have been secretly detained, and that the Evergreen cargo ship incident was a plot by Trump to expose the Deep State and that it was carrying children and body parts. I don’t know how these people wake up every day and function. It’s terrifying, tbh.

It's speculated that Gaetz's buddy Greenberg will plea to sex trafficking and cooperate with investigators.

And another aid quit: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/08/us/an...ation.html

I particularly like the Women of Gaetz release:

Quote:With few outside allies coming to his defense, Mr. Gaetz’s office issued a statement on Thursday from women who work for him extolling his respect for them. It was signed simply “The Women of the Office of U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz,” without any named signatories.

“Congressman Gaetz has always been a principled and morally grounded leader,” it said. “At no time has any one of us experienced or witnessed anything less than the utmost professionalism and respect. No hint of impropriety. No ounce of untruthfulness.”

Citing media reports about the Justice Department inquiry, the statement said the women “uniformly reject these allegations as false.”

I wonder how many are under 18?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

RE: Gaetzgate
So, funny thing, yesterday, Dad and I talked a little about the scandal and he asked how someone like him could have lasted this long in Congress. I pointed out that I had recently read an article in The Atlantic that pointed out that Congress is literally the best possible workplace he could possibly have. Not because of the fact that there’s a lot of power to be had in Congress, but the fact that being such a scumbag in Congress is very low risk and that in literally any other job, he’d have been fired years ago. There’s no HR, the assumption that he’d be accountable to voters just gets less and less tenable the more you think about the situation (namely that Gaetz and the people who voted him in simply do not care), and the closest thing to HR there is in Congress (once you factor in his utter lack of shame) simply doesn’t have the power to do anything. The only real punishment he can have is expulsion, and that seems to only happen once a century.

As hard as the Trumpites tried to push the idea that the Clintons were operating a pedophile sex trafficking ring out of the basement of a pizza joint, or some other such nonsense, it's interesting that so many Trump allies are being found to have a thing for young sex partners.

Methinks the ladies doth protest too much.
