Putting it in my mouth

Two packets of oatmeal
Chia seeds 1 tbsp.
Banana chopped up
Almond butter 2 tbsp.

Nice and thick and hearty.

Okay - I have looked at, and put back on the shelf, jars of almond butter multiple times.  I was never sure if I would like it and it's a lot more expensive than peanut butter (which I love).

So, thanks to this post I bought some.  I'm still on the fence...but I plan to try it in and on different things.

I love hazelnuts and their poorer cousins, filberts. If you think almond butter is expensive, check out the hazelnut butter.  Panic
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

It was my first time too. It tastes like peanut butter. *shrugs* like very similar and it has the same calorie count. I read on some site about natural hunger suppressors and almonds was listed because of their protein content, I think. But now that I've tasted it and looked closer...I don't see why peanut butter wouldn't work the same, you know? Especially as I only got it to bulk up things like oatmeal and shakes. Things that I can't add protein to without turning it into a savory meal.

roasted salted peanuts, and lots of water. A heck a lot of salt in this package, love it.

My older daughter invited me to go with her in the morning to eat breakfast at a greasy spoon type diner...it will be the first time I have been in a restaurant in over a year. Happy Mothers' Day to me. I love breakfast foods. It'll be fun...we can practice for the road trip we are still planning for this fall.

Third pound Sam's Club gourmet Angus burgers. These were good. A few minutes prep, then frozen to plate in 15 minutes in the air fryer.
